November 1st

How on earth did we get to November 1st already? Baby Bear will be here in 16 hours.. Rainey and I have been cleaning and picking things up off of the floor in preparation for his visit... In  between reading a script that she needs to be familiar with by Friday morning - and then learning lines for that script and another script that she needs to know for an audition tomorrow both are feature length movies and one films here in Los Angeles and the other is a Steven Spielberg production that will be filming in Ireland... the Los Angeles one is a callback and the one that she is reading the script for and she really likes the script or storyline. The other one is a bit scary- a remake of a Henry James novel from the late 1800's - we worked hard on that one yesterday doing the Spark Notes and reviewing other movies made from that novel.. some were a bit scary but if you turn off the music then it  does not lead up to such a scare if they open a door and see someone standing there. The 1961 version was pretty mild... but we should be prepared for both.... I just hope that there are not big auditions while I am gone... and that things are pretty calm for a few days.. We had a really good Halloween - We went to Matthew's old neighborhood and trick or treated.. wow.. it was so amazing with the decorations and the kids and outfits and the parents - really a nice evening.. Tom went up to Anchorage yesterday but will be home in the morning.. since I have baby he will be taking Rainey tomorrow to Universal's back lot for her audition at Amblin Entertainment.. very high security back there. Our tennis instructor is sick so no tennis this week. and we have no tennis next week. because it was already not on the schedule... we did get to Underwood Farms and had such a nice time last Saturday- We passed on the way a riding stable- Rainey is back in Girl Scouts.. after we needed a sash for a Capital One audition ( with Jennifer Garner) - if she gets that one it will film while I am gone... :(  but Tom really enjoys her movies so it will be a treat for him - at any rate.. she decided she wanted to start again but it will just be our independent troop and then we can go to activities in the local area.. but  one of the badges she wants to get is horse riding .. hence the interest in a riding stable.. :)OK... well lines are not going to get learned while I am blogging..
