Graduation
Yesterday was RB's 4 year preschool graduation. It seems like it was just yesterday it was August and I was taking her to her first day of 4 year old preschool and now it is over. She went to the same preschool for 3 year old and 4 year old which was pretty great. We had just gotten home at 2 in the morning from Arizona and her last day of school started at 9:30 am. We ended up going grocery shopping first where she informed me that it was her "graduation " day and that we needed to have a party. I had completely forgotten that we needed to have a "party" for her graduation and had been thinking of spending the morning in the office catching up on Quick books and starting on my summer classes. Instead I dropped her off and called Adrienne up and said " we have to get ready for the graduation party are you in?" I was also told at school they were going to have a little celebration at 1 pm and so the clock was ticking :) We first went to the party store to buy decorations, then off to Carrs to buy flowers for her teachers and then over to the toy store to pick out some presents because I was told that when you graduate "you get presents Grandma to help you celebrate" so presents were bought with a quick stop at Mcdonalds because Adrienne "was starving" and back to the house by 12:05 pm (We needed to leave by 12:00) so we wrapped, decorated and designed a pretty awesome 4 year old graduation.
Then off to the celebration at school we went. Here are some pictures
Then when we got home we played the new cupcake game, designed the new airplanes, played with them in the yard, went for a nap drive (Adrienne drove while Grandma unpacked from the trip). We also got 10 flags and 5 of the spinning things to line our sidewalk with for Memorial Day. I spend about a half hour raking the side of the sidewalk and getting all the leaves picked up and then doing some watering to start getting the area green. We put the flags up and then played with our new super bubble wands. Which are so much fun!!! All in all a pretty fun day. First day of Kindergarten August 22nd. She had three months of summer break.
