Skydiving

 

These pictures were taken on Saturday July 20th out at the Palmer airport where Tom was skydiving. He went over on Sunday but when I got  over there  a little before one pm his car was not there and so I called him to find out where he was and he said that he was almost home. He had gotten hurt skydiving. He came in and the wind was burrbling around the trees and a gust of wind caught his chute and pulled him up and then he tried to compensate by pulling towards the ground and landed pretty hard. I took  him to the emergency place where they xrayed it and he had broken the top of his arm near shoulder area in two spots. Today we went to the Orthopedic Surgeon and its a little more complicated than the initial diagnosis. He is going to have to have surgery next week either Tuesday or Wednesday they want to wait a week to let the bleeding slow down. He will not be skydiving for about 6 months but he will be after his arm heals properly.
